Flipping The Script with Tony Blodgett

from Market Shares With Tony Blodgett · host Tony Blodgett

On this week’s episode of Market Shares, we have a bit of a switch up. I was interviewed on TheKnowledgeCoop’s podcast a few weeks ago by my good friends Ken Perry and Kirk Faulkner. Prior to this interview, I did and exercise where I wrote out my life on a timeline and thought back to major events (both positive and negative) that shaped who I am today. In this episode, we walk through those years and pull out the key points that have led me to my role at NAF.While this Market Shares episode is in a little different format, we still cover a tremendous amount on business, successes and failures in mortgage, the state of the market, and leadership. We dive deep into the key points of my career that taught me invaluable lessons. I talk about being in a leadership position at a young age, a business opportunity that did not turn out how I had envisioned and starting from zero after ‘getting the chair kicked out from under me.’ Both Ken and Kirk are incredible figures in the mortgage space and provide a ton of valuable resources here on their site: The Knowledge Coop - Mortgage Mastery Begins Here. Learn, Grow, Win. Also, you can follow @theknowledgecoop across social platforms and check out their podcast @theknowledgecoop wherever you listen to podcasts! Main Take-aways from the podcast:Reflecting on the past 10 years of my life.Work ethic, clearly stating your goals and never losing that vision. My experience and journey in martial arts.My experience from starting as a Loan Officer to the role I am in today.Leadership lessonsWhat will the next 10 years hold?
