Flooded Corn

from Midwest Flyways Podcast · host Midwest Flyways

Well the debate heard round the waterfowl community has made its way to us. For the last couple of months you’ve probably seen all of the discussions, debates, and outright fighting regarding flooded corn and whether or not this practice should be allowed to continue. While purposefully flooding corn is not a common practice, it is in some parts of the country and there are strong opinions in the south regarding it. Joey and Cal give their thoughts about the debate and look at multiple different avenues when it comes to the lack of mallards in the south. We’re not saying we’re right or that we know everything and you may have a different opinion one way or the other. The important thing we keep in mind is the need for dialogue in all of these issues and being able to see it from all angles.
