Torrential rain and floods are causing major problems across large parts of Greater Manchester. A total of 26 flood warnings have been issued, in the Greater Manchester area alone. One of those areas includes parts of central Salford, close to the River Irwell. It means homes in the Lower Kersal, Charlestown and Lower Broughton areas could soon be underwater - and immediate action is required.
