Floresville ISD accepts resignation of Superintendent Jason Gilstrap

The Floresville Independent School District (ISD) board of trustees has officially accepted the resignation of Superintendent Jason Gilstrap, effective at the end of June. Gilstrap, who will be transitioning to serve as deputy superintendent at Comal ISD, has served as superintendent in Floresville for five years.  “On behalf of the board, we thank Dr. Gilstrap for his leadership and dedication to Floresville ISD,” said board of trustees President Stephen Shodrock in the district’s press release. “We are grateful for his commitment to our students, staff, and community, and we wish him continued success in his new role.” Floresville ISD trustees...
