Floresville ISD trustees approve 2026-27 hybrid calendar

[Video below] Floresville Independent School District students will have a new hybrid calendar for the 2026-27 school year. During their April 6 meeting, the district trustees approved a calendar which supports a five-day school week during the fall semester and four-day school weeks in the spring semester. The calendar was the majority preference by parents and community members in a survey sent out earlier this year, according to Assistant Superintendent Heather Brooks.
