Floresville, La Vernia All-Star players compete

Athletes from Floresville and La Vernia competed in the San Antonio Area Association of Basketball Coaches All- Star Games held April 19 at Texas A&M University–San Antonio. The girls game, played at 2 p.m., consisted of Team Torro (colored jerseys) versus Team Garza (white jerseys). Team Torro won, 110-77. The boys game, held at 4 p.m., included Team Kotzur (Southwest Legacy coach staff) and Team Briseno (Highlands coach staff). Team Kotzur won, 77-72.
