Florida Baseball 2026 Season Preview: Predictions & Players To Watch

Southeastern 16’s Graham Doty and Chris Lee preview the Florida Gators for the 2026 baseball season. Topics include: Coach Kevin O’Sullivan had a rough off-season, taking a leave of absence and also losing long-time assistant Chuck Jeroloman to Tennessee. O’Sullivan will serve a brief suspension to start the season due to a post-game incident at Coastal Carolina. Injuries to Kyle Jones and Cade Kurland helped wreck Florida’s 2025 season. Those guys are healthy and will join returnees Blake Cyr, budding superstar Brendan Lawson, Hayden Yost, Justin Nadeau and Landon Stripling as key bats. Florida added transfers Sam Miller, Karson Bowen and Ethan Surowiec as key bats for this season. Liam Peterson and Aidan King could potentially be the country’s best Friday-Saturday-starter combo.
