Collaborations are a way of life in the craft beer industry. Whether with other brewers, celebrities, or charitable organizations, it's not hard to find a local brewery with a collaboration on tap. To celebrate their one year anniversary, Dogfish Head Miami decided to brew a collaboration as well! The brewery they chose was much-lauded Athens, GA-based Creature Comforts brewing, bringing some amazing ingredients with them to brew a special collab beer due out in July. In the downtime, we spoke to Dogfish Head founder Sam Calagione along with Creature Comforts CEO Chris Herron and COO Adam Beauchamp about this collaboration, the importance of collaborations in general, and more. Plus we chat with Creature Comforts about their recent collaborations with Run The Jewels and the newly released Dogfish Head Miami collaboration with former Miami Heat star Chris Bosh! Afterward, at Sam's insistence, we went up to the control room and spoke for a few with Paul Frederickson, Head Brewer at Dogfish Head Miami.
