The relative's quick thinking and suspicion saved the child from potential harm. Barnes claimed the bleach was used to rinse the bottle, but the contents were confirmed to contain chlorine-based bleach by the FBI laboratory. Despite this crazy incident, Barnes was not arrested until four months later!
