Florida Prepaid launches this year's open-enrollment period for college-savings plans
As families recover from the pandemic, this year’s open-enrollment period for “Florida Prepaid College-Savings Plans” is now underway. And, the “Florida Prepaid College Board” is encouraging them to plan for a brighter tomorrow—by finding a plan that meets both their budget, and their goals. Kevin Thompson is the Board’s executive-director… “In a recent study conducted by the Board, we found that more than 90-percent of Florida-parents say [that] college is more important than ever—or just as important—in the wake of ‘COVID-19’. At ‘Florida Prepaid’, we’ve been helping families save for college—for over 30 years. And, here’s what’s great about our plans: With our prepaid plans, you simply choose the plan that fits your savings-goals, make your payments, and—when you’re done—you know [that] your child’s college-tuition is covered. There’s no need to worry about the ups-and-downs of the stock-market, or how much college-costs go up in the future; that’s on ‘Prepaid’ to manage. And, our prepaid plans are guaranteed by the State of Florida—so you can never lose your investment. They really provide parents with great peace-of-mind.” Families who enroll by February 28th will have the 50-dollar application-fee waived. Open-enrollment runs through April 30th.
