Florida State vs. ACC: FSU Scores A New Court Victory, Does The ACC Have An Achilles Heel?

from Locked On ACC - Daily College Football & Basketball Podcast · host Locked On Podcast Network

A Leon County, Florida judge has denied the ACC's motion to stay, giving Florida State a court victory in their home state. FSU's quest to try and break the ACC's Grant of Rights will continue. Florida State feels that if they leave the conference, the ACC will not own their future TV rights over the next twelve years, something the conference feels they are legally entitled to through 2036. FSU also claims the ACC violated their own rules by suing Florida State without taking a vote from their members. Could this be the ACC's achilles heel? Hosts Alex Donno and Kenton Gibbs break down the latest. FSU has seemingly evened the score after the ACC won a battle in a North Carolina court last week. The guys also discuss some important non-conference games for ACC teams coming up this football season. Can Clemson hang with Georgia? Will Miami beat Florida at the Swamp? Can NC State beat the Tennessee Volunteers? The ACC went 7-5 against the SEC in football last season. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! LinkedInThese days every new potential hire can feel like a high stakes wager for your small business.
