Flourish, Don’t Force It

Yes Y’all, this one came straight from the back patio, under the stars, past my bedtime, and honestly a LOT rough around the edges — and that’s exactly why I recorded it. Tonight I got real honest about something I’m still unboxing: the workhorse mentality. And REST without guilt. Farmer’s granddaughter, push-through-the-pain, rest-is-for-the-weak kind of thinking. And God met me right there and reminded me that rest isn’t a box — pushing past what He’s asking of my body is. I dig into Psalm 92:12-14 (NKJV) — “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree… Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age.” Flourishing isn’t hustle. It’s what happens when you’re planted and let God do the growing. I also talk about Isaiah 60:1 — “Arise, shine, for your light has come!” — and what it means to let God do a new thing in a season when you feel behind, slow to learn, or not enough.
