from Food Labels Revealed · host Mel Weinstein

INGREDIENTS OF THE DAY:  allulose, MCT, monk fruit extract, inulin In this episode I continue the examination of alternative foods, i.e. foods that are manufactured to cater to specific diets or health conditions.  In the previous episode, #47, I reviewed the gluten free diet and a number of processed foods designed for gluten sensitive consumers.  The focus of this episode is the keto diet.  Topics will include a description of the diet, its history, my personal bias, and a short list of processed foods manufactured for people on this diet.  Along the way, I make a few interesting discoveries.
