Flyers Coaching Staff Maps 2026-27 Strategy | Philadelphia Flyers News

The Flyers’ coaching staff, led by Rick Tocchet, locked in their game plan for the 2026-27 season with a no-nonsense, high-stakes strategy session — complete with an exclusive invite for Flyers Daily’s Jason Myrtetus. After a breakout 98-point campaign and playoff triumph last year, they’re not resting on laurels: complacency is dead, intensity must carry over, and the new season demands even greater grit. Tocchet’s team is doubling down on internal cohesion, player personality management, and a bold shift toward aggressive puck possession and attacking hockey. Power play unity and role discipline are top priorities, as they aim to turn every opportunity into a scoring threat — no matter how early or rough the start.
