Flyers Eye Marchenko Trade | Philadelphia Flyers News

The Flyers are circling Columbus Blue Jackets forward Kirill Marchenko, a 25-year-old scorer who hit 20 goals and a career-high 74 points last season. With Philly’s power play struggling in the playoffs, Marchenko’s offensive punch could be the missing piece — even if he’s not a traditional power-play specialist. Talks also swirl around defenseman Zach Werenski’s potential departure, making Marchenko a hot trade candidate. But here’s the catch: Marchenko reportedly wants an $11M contract — a steep price that could demand heavy draft capital. The Blue Jackets may be open to moving key pieces, but whether Philly’s willing to pay that premium remains to be seen.
