Flyers Lock Down Drysdale for 4 Years | Philadelphia Flyers News

Flyers lock down Jamie Drysdale with a four-year, $6.5M deal — a statement of faith in his explosive growth and future impact. The 24-year-old defenseman shattered personal bests in goals, game-winners, and points, jumped his plus-minus, and hit 100 career points faster than most from his draft class. He earned the Pelle Lindbergh Memorial Trophy for most improved player, made his playoff debut with a goal, and added four points in 10 postseason games. With international experience and leadership as Canada’s captain, Drysdale is now firmly entrenched as a cornerstone of Philadelphia’s defense — and his best hockey is just beginning.
