Flyers Lock In McDonald for Two Years | Philadelphia Flyers News

Flyers lock in defenseman Hunter McDonald on a two-year, $1.825M deal — first year two-way, second one-way — wrapping up Danny Briere’s offseason moves. The 24-year-old, who made his NHL debut in the Flyers’ final game last season with an assist, posted six assists and 92 penalty minutes in 65 AHL games last year. He’s expected to start the season in Lehigh Valley but remains a physical, skating defenseman ready for a call-up. With restricted free agency status until 2028, McDonald’s development could be key to future NHL depth. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
