Flyers Trade Up to Boost Day Two

The Flyers pulled off a savvy trade to snag Maksim Solovkoskii at 27th overall, swapping picks to land two extra selections and massively boosting their draft capital for day two. With only three picks originally on the board, this move opens the door to either snagging a late-first-round sleeper or making multiple strategic grabs. Top targets include towering center Brooks Rogowski, offensive defenseman Xavier Villeneuve, and goal-scoring forward Ryan Roobroek—all potential steals if they slip. Plus, goalie Tobias Trejbal could be the perfect fix for their thin netminder depth. With newfound flexibility, the Flyers are poised to make bold moves and reshape their future.
