Flyers update arena rendering after fans notice lack of women in initial version

Women are Flyers fans, too. You know that, we know that — and now, a design firm says it has corrected an oversight that showed no women or girls in Flyers gear at the forthcoming arena in South Philly. The company Populous told the Inquirer it worked quickly — as soon as it became aware of the issue — to update the renderings released earlier this week. The new renderings are more inclusive. The building is scheduled to open in 2030.
