Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery - Washington Beer Talk #6

This week I visited Flying Bike Coop Brewery in Greenwood. Head brewer Kevin and board member David join me in the busy taproom to talk about running a coop. The first ever coop brewery in Washington, Flying Bike has its own set of interesting challenges and that includes making all decisions democratically. That means the members get to decide what beers get brewed and whose recipe to use, as well as big business decisions. As they say, this is sometimes to their benefit and perhaps sometimes to their detriment.
