The anticipation hung in the air like a tangible force, and the expectant crowd gazed down upon the sandy arena below.  "Friends.. Countrymen!” he began “Today, we stand at the threshold of greatness, on the precipice of an event that will etch its name into the annals of time!" Faustus's voice, strong and commanding, resonated through the vast colosseum.  "As the sun casts its golden gaze upon this sacred arena, we bear witness to a spectacle unlike any other!
