Greetings, greetings, whether it's another episode of Truth of Power, I am your host, Taris New Knight. And tonight I want to talk about the remaining focus on the mission. Now for those who listen to my piekays on a regular basis, you guys know that I like definitions. Why do I like definitions?

Same answer as always. It's because definitions clearly define things, and sometimes things need to be clearly defined, especially for my people. Now make no mistakes about it, I love my people. Sometimes we tend to lose focus, especially when we have a mission in hand.

Sometimes we tend to bear into other things. Now for those who don't know, focus is defined as a center of activity, attraction, or attention. Sometimes we have to have it a losing focus on our mission. Most of the times it's due to petty differences, and it has to stop, especially when it comes to not just our survival, but our triumph.

And here, in the system of white supremacy that we're going through in the United States, it is very vital to our triumph as a people. Now in the civil rights movement, we had a lot of petty differences. We had some people, which can be a good thing. We had differences, but for the most part, if it's petty, then we shouldn't worry about it.

For the most part, some people focused on religion. Some people were focused on religion. Some people were focused on how old some people were, and just how much money other people were making during the civil rights movement. But nobody really focused on the mission.

For the most part. Now, most of the time our period of differences are due to people that really don't understand what the mission is. They just want to be a part of something. And we need soldiers.

We don't need people that are petty, and they don't understand what the mission is. True soldiers always understand what the mission is. Now, wise men once say there's nothing else where a focus drives. And I totally agree with that, because having a focus drive clearly, clearly gives you an advantage over your competition.

Especially like, let's just go to sports. If you're a boxer, if you're a football player, I guarantee you, the person with the most focused drive during the training, during the fight, or during the sport, the time that the sport is taking place, that's going to be the person that's going to win that fight, who's going to win that game, that's going to walk away with the W. And we have to remain hyper-visioned about our mission until we complete that mission. And the mission is to replace the system of white supremacy with a system of justice.

That's been our mission, ever since we got out of those boats. And I should remain our mission. Now motivational speaker, who shall remain names, once said, it's not over until you win. And as an attitude that black people, we have to adapt, we have to adapt, but almost for it.

You understand that the fight with system of white supremacy is never over until we all win. Until we win. And it's not going to be easy, no fight is. It's going to take some hard work, it's going to take some drive, it's going to take some focus.

But all fights do. And we are all against the monster that has been in all honesty, been dominating us for the last 400 years. And it's time to start chipping away at that monster's power. And when I speak about that monster, I'm talking about white supremacy.

And all facets of our lives are affected by white supremacy, whether we believe it or not. And every day we have to wake up in dibbities. Obtaining power with wealthy influence should always be the mission. And focus has to be laser sharp.

Now, when I talk about obtaining power with wealthy interference, that itself is going to eradicate white supremacy amongst black people. But we've got to be focused on our mission, and we've got to be focused on ourselves. We can't bear off and worry about other people's movements if we haven't take care of ourselves first. And even after we take care of ourselves first, truthfully, we should still remain in the taking care of ourselves and not worry about other people.

Now once again, I say no one, and I mean no one, is bigger than a mission. Now I'm relatively a young guy. But I watched this movie that was made in the 1970s. It's called The Spookoo Said by the Door.

Now, Dad Freeman, he was the main character. He was the CIA operative. They came back to the hood to teach the young guys on the games how to defend themselves against white supremacy. But the interesting thing about this movie is his best friend was a cop.

Which then Freeman eventually had to kill this cop. And the gang member said that they were moving his body from his apartment because he killed him in his apartment. He said, hey, this is your name. He was like, okay, so he said anybody that gets between us and freedom has got to go.

Let me say the wrong term. He said anybody that gets between us and freedom has got to go. And then he said something that I love, he made a quote that I love. He said, remember, don't quit until you don't wait or you die.

That's how much dedication he had to his mission, which was to eradicate white supremacy. We got to eradicate white supremacy on all levels. But we first thought we'd get an economic game together. I had been preaching this for the longest that we should get an economic game together.

I think we argued better, but now it's time to pull our resources back together and start investing in our neighborhoods. Because gentrification is on the rise and it's on the rise in a very, very extreme manner. To the point where people are not even hiding anymore. It's so blatant that people don't even have to hide anymore.

We got to start getting back on our ground back in the days. I think the whole integration, your segregation, economically we were stronger. You know why? Because we had no choice but to deal with each other.

We had no choice but to buy from each other because we were welcomed by the white neighborhoods. For all those who are integrationists, they may make a claim saying, oh man, like, you know, integration was good because we got to be around white people. But I think that's further from the truth because they handicapped us in a way where we no longer have corporations and businesses that we could depend on by economic structure. And in my opinion, I think that we only integrate it without money.

We did integrate and we integrated with our money and we integrated socially. But there was no reciprocation from the dominant white society as far as I spent money with this. Also, there was no significant integration amongst other races to spend that money with us as well. But any of them, you just didn't do it.

And we had to start worried about others. They started taking care of ourselves. And I don't know, you know, black people, we are welcoming people, we are warm people. But now it's time for us to be cold.

And it's time to worry about our own self-interest and it's not worried about other people. And we had to remain focused on our mission. Regardless of any type of petty differences, any type of distractions, we had to remain focused on our mission and we had to understand what that mission is. Now, when we talk about self-focus, that means also being able to get really any type of distractions.

And the stretches could be coming to any form. The stretches could come to in the form of women. And I know fellas, I know, I got you a nice looking woman who has body, works out everything you want. However, she could be a distraction.

She could be a distraction to your mission. And your mission should always come first, always. And that's the type of drive that you should have always with everything that you do. Because if you don't, then people will take advantage of it and they will use it against you to destroy you.

And that's what they've been doing to us for the last 400 years. They see that we've been all cold and that we're not really focused and committed to our mission. That we've got to stay focused to this mission. And what our mission is right now is become economically sufficient.

And part of that is fighting for reparations. And we all want to call over that. And I'm so happy that we are all cold, but then we all want to call it. And we all want to call over.

There have been some people that don't seem to want to remain on cold and stay with the mission. And we don't need everybody to be on cold. We just need enough people to be on cold. And I just wanted to point that out because time and time again, I get to see the same thing over and over again.

I see people saying that they want something, people saying that they want to do something. But they don't really have the drive to do it. And I just want to say, also, thank you guys for being a product tonight's show. I just spoke truth to power.

I want you guys to have a good night.
