Focus on God's goodness in our lives

Continuing on yesterday's message of looking up at God (Colossians 3:2) we have a further verse from apostle Paul. He directs us to looks at Godly aspects of our lives which he lists, rather than counselling us on what not to look at. It is a far more positive and encouraging way to guide us. "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." (Philippians 4:8).
