It's good to focus on the things that are within your control. It's easy to focus and pay attention to things outside of our control. What happens when we do this though is we tend to fall off a little bit.My voice is also pretty weak right now, but I know that I need to focus on what I need to prioritize. I can control:Time I put into my podcastTime I go to bedTime I put into researching guestsBut there are some things that are not in my control. I cannot controlExternal events I wasn't aware of until the moment - what's done is doneHow people respond to meThe weather outsideWhen I remember this I am much more able to enjoy things - because I put the bulk of my energy into things I'm able to control - instead of things that can change out of nowhere.Accepting this brings freedom.Support the show
