Als het over de oorlog in Indië gaat wordt er te vaak gesproken over de misstanden en het excessieve geweld vindt Voorzitter van het Veteranenplatform Hans van Griensven. „De berichtgeving is vaak te suggestief, natuurlijk is oorlog vreselijk maar het is onterecht dat alle Indië-gangers weg worden gezet als oorlogsmisdadigers”, aldus van Griensven.
