from Crohn's and Autism Awareness Advocate · host Mason Milne

Today I am joined with Vicky my friend from actually asplling this is her second time on the show!  We speak about Focused interest, Vicky explains why she prefers the term "Focused" rather than special we talk about social media being content creators how hard it can be and the work you have to out in to be dedicated to it! and we talk social media algorithms. We talk about focused interests such a gaming we both enjoy, we talk the feels of controllers! and part of my Autism a focus is used in the game Horizon a game where you play the character Alloy and she uses a Focus! with the controller we talk how textures we like and how change can be hard for us. Vicky loves Doctor Who music and loves having the show on in the background.  Vicky also has dyspraxia and chronic fatigue so we also talk about this! and how Doctor Who would hugely benefit from an Autistic storyline but done in the correct and right way! We mention the Doctor Who exhibition in Liverpool as we both went but 2 weeks apart which was so funny and we had a picture at the same rock 2 weeks apart so same place different time we travelled through time and space! we talk about our time there and how spaced out it was which we like because we both like our own space.  Both of us talk favourite episodes, Doctor Who villains such as The Weeping Angels and experiences! Vicky says and quoted "Don't Blink although she struggles herself. We also talk stimming and sonic screwdrivers how they can comfort autistic people and how the Doctor could identify as autistic!  Vicky advise is how we should all be kind and that people shouldn't judge and listen to Autistic people!  Her favourite line or quote from Doctor Who is the one iconic line - Geronimoooo! Thank you again Vicky such an awesome chat!
