She passed at the age of 39 from colon cancer. Way too soon for a person to leave this world, she will be dearly missed. Our deepest condolences go out to her friends, family, and close loved ones. I'd also like to say rest in peace to the fantastic Cicely Tyson, who also has passed at the age of 96. For those of you unaware, Tyson was a black actress who paved the way for many, breaking numerus stereotypes for African Americans, specifically black women. She will be deeply missed by all. May both live on through their legacy, and their impact to their respective industries.
