Wie nah beieinander überwältigende Schönheit und Zerbrechlichkeit der schwindenden Eismassen liegen, zeigen die Fotografien von Olaf Otto Becker. Von 2003 bis 2018 hat der Fotograf zahlreiche Projekte in Grönland durchgeführt, u.a. bereiste er die grönländische Westküste mit einem Schlauchboot von Ilulissat bis hoch nach Melville Bay. Eine seiner Fotografien des Ilulissat Eisfjordes ist in der Ausstellung „Ewiges Eis" im Museum Sinclair-Haus in Bad Homburg zu sehen. Olaf Otto Becker ist weit gereist, hat viel gesehen. Im Gespräch mit Marilena Berends spricht er über seine Eindrücke, über seine Faszination am ewigen Eis und seine Hoffnungen.
