The midterm elections in the United States are two months away, and we have witnessed a little more drama in the primaries than we would expect from a midterm election cycle. Quite surprisingly, Democrats captured a House seat in Alaska, and abortion rights supporters won impressively in Kansas. And we might be in for more surprises in November. In this episode of the HCA podcast, Anja Schüler talks about the upcoming midterm elections with David McCuan. He is a professor for political science at Sonoma State University. Much of his work focuses on elections in the United States, with particular expertise in state and local politics, campaigns, and political behavior.
