Henry Kissinger, one of the world's most influential policymakers, died at the end of November at one hundred years. He served as national security adviser and secretary of state under presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. He never ran for elected office himself, but he was a mastermind foreign policymaker, Nobel Peace Prize and a very controversial figure. What made him so controversial and how have historians judged him so far?
