Follow Me | Week 5

Join us for Week 5 of our Follow Me series as Pastor Alex Gowler describes how we can practically live out the gospel in a broken world. Drawing from the story of the paralyzed man in Luke 5, this message explores the primary theme of active faith and service. Discover how Jesus moves toward messiness rather than away from it, and learn how to balance sharing the good news with showing good works. Whether you are seeking spiritual guidance or looking for ways to impact your community, this message provides the clarity and courage needed to see people through the eyes of Jesus and find faith in the midst of faults. Key Takeaways: - Move Towards the Mess: Learn why following Jesus means stepping into inconvenient or messy situations to bring hope and restoration. - Prioritize People Over Problems: Shift your perspective to see individuals as God sees them—beloved and worthy—rather than focusing on their labels or conditions. - The Power of Practical Faith: Understand why Jesus valued the bold, roof-tearing faith of the friends over social etiquette or property concerns. - The Inseparable Gospel: Discover why "good news" and "good works" must go hand-in-hand to truly represent the Kingdom of God in your daily life.
