Send us Fan MailA discussion with Julien Icher  about the Lafayette Trail .  The Marquis de Lafayette, French Aristocracy and American Revolutionary Hero  returned to the United States in 1824, fifty years after the American Revolution.   He traveled the United States pulling together a fractured  country.  The national celebrations for Lafayette helped to give a young country a new identity and sense of self.
