Follow Through with Praise

Powerful message by Pastor Tai Adeshugba Follow Through with Praise As the end of 2018 draws near, this tends to be a time of reflection on how the past year has been for us. We often make the mistake of rounding up our experiences by “boasting” on what the devil has done by focusing on the negative things that has happened throughout the year. However, during today’s service, Pastor Tai reminded us that we need to shift our focus and “boast” about what God has done. No matter how challenging 2018 may have been for you, you have so much to be thankful for,  therefore we must step into 2019 with praise. Going into the new year with praise means you must lay all the good and bad that happened in 2018 at the altar. Just as Hannah did when she was praying for a baby; the moment Hannah let go and gave all her trust to God, there was a turnaround. Pastor Tai also encouraged us to affirm the promises of God, with praise, over the new year and launch into 2019 with confidence because the word of God never fails.
