Send us Fan MailFollow Your Calling“I press on toward the goal, toward the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 3:14There’s a general calling which applies to all humanity and there specific calls which apply to us uniquely as individuals and communities. We have all been called to walk with and in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We have all been called make sure the hungry have something to eat, the thirsty have something to drink, to welcome the stranger, to cloth the naked and to care for the sick and imprisoned. Some of us have more specific callings that require us like Abraham and Sarah to begin a journey of an unknown duration to an unknown destination.Answering both types of callings requires us to get uncomfortable, to learn and develop new skills and disciplines, and to trust God enough press on through our disappointments, setbacks, mistakes, and failures. I’m Horace McMillon.
