My guest today Justin Onuekwusi had 70 applications rejected, he was at a crossroads of what to do next when finally his determination paid off but despite wanting this for long he realised this was not for him. He had to find the courage and take responsibility for his journey despite everything he had gone through to get there and make a change. Justin Onuekwusi is one of the few black Fund Manager who work in the asset management industry. He is the Head of Retail Multi-Asset Funds at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) and prior to that he has worked with AON Hewitt, Merrill Lynch and Aviva Investors. He has also been awarded the Freedom of the City of London in recognition of his work promoting inclusivity within the asset management industry.
