Following Christ Through Lent

Jesus’ wilderness temptation shows how Lent is a season of testing, trust, and growth. Though hungry, pressured to prove himself, and offered power without sacrifice, Jesus remained obedient to God’s word. His example teaches believers to resist shortcuts, pride, and self-reliance. Lent invites reflection, deeper dependence on God, humble worship, and faithful obedience, trusting His timing and choosing righteousness over comfort or worldly success.
