SERMON NOTES (click arrow to the right to open)Main Idea: Following Jesus in a world of change; we are in a Global Village, however the commands of Jesus transcends time and culture.Sermon Notes: Our obedience will enable us to understand life at its fullness.Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus has all authority and promises his presence.Even his choice of 12 was not about them...it is about him! He looked for men who would follow him. The moment this happened they changed the world.3 Points from Matthew 281. Making disciples is making someone who follows Jesus. Attach is same as disciple. 2. Baptizing them after they have chosen to follow Jesus. 3. Teaching obedience, the Word of God becomes life when you live it. Revival happens when we repent and begin to live in obedience, then transformation happens. Luke 14:13; Luke 9:23; Galations 2:20 Love God, then do what you want! Freedom lies the day we surrender! Selective obedience is problematic! When you honor God he will honor you!Application Questions: 1. What do you think of the phrase, "Come to Jesus and everything will be ok." 2. Who are you attached to? 3. Do we have a church environment that makes disciples? 4. Do you read your Bible every day?
