Now, House Republicans are following suit, rejecting Trump's demands to both refuse to fund (thereby shutting down) the federal government and lift the debt ceiling. As Politico reported: " Trump's wake-up call: Republicans are willing to defy him". Additionally, Rep. Eric Swalwell just authored a piece titled, " I've faced Trump's crusade to punish his enemies.
