Following The Trail of Light with Katie Pilgrim

from Concerning The Spiritual In Art · host Martin Benson

In this conversation, Katie and I discuss her mission to elevate the spiritual in art within the contemporary landscape. We talk about her creative origins and how art in all of its forms can be used as a tool for higher consciousness. We discuss the inception of Lifted Lab, her spiritual art platform, and the greater possibilities art has within our ever evolving culture. -------------------------- In a time before smartphones and the internet, art was a companion, a tool, and a gateway to the imagination for Katie while growing up. This connection to art and the imagination has informed her mission of finding and sharing transcendent creative experiences. As an arts and culture curator, Katie explores the relationship between creativity, spirituality, and philosophy. She has witnessed how creating art and being in the presence of art can be transformative. She believes in the potential of art to further evolve human consciousness and to assist in both individual and collective healing. Her calling to bring thoughtful, public access to art manifests through art consulting, gallery management, event facilitation, and through sharing her online contemporary art platform, Lifted Lab. Founded in 2009 as a way to create and share collaborative art experiences, Lifted Lab has evolved into an experimental hub for uplifting and promoting artists and facilitating conversations that explore contemporary spiritual art. Lifted Lab supports a creative movement that stands for deeper perspectives, transformation, and inspiration for all. www.liftedlab.com www.katharinealice.com See More from Martin Benson *To stay up on releases and content surrounding the show check out my instagram *To contribute to the creation of this show, along with access to other exclusive content, consider joining my Patreon!
