FOLLOWING THE WALLS

There are a lot of stonewalls on the Center’s land, created a couple of hundred years ago when the land was cleared for farming. Since then, after the settlers gave up, the forest has returned, but the walls remain. In late fall and winter, they are easier to follow than in the summer.
