For the last 13 years, Kayla has taught children and adults, both in the United States and abroad, the power of their language. Kayla holds an undergraduate degree in English and Secondary Education from Wartburg College (Iowa). She has three masters degrees from the University of Northern Iowa in Literacy Education, Principalship, and Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy, as well as a Reading Specialist endorsement (K-12).Kayla holds certifications and trainings from the Chek Institute, Enlifted, Yoga Calm, and Yoga Alliance. She works with individuals, schools, businesses, and higher education settings on language, identity and communication.Kayla is the owner of Stories in Motion, LLC. She lives in Iowa with her playful dog, Kai.Kayla is a communication and mindset coach who works with children and adults. As a teacher for 13 years, she understands the power of how we communicate to ourselves about ourselves and the importance of building a mindset that supports who we are and the person we are becoming. Kayla also works with individuals on traumas they have faced and helps them create a better life for themselves.
