Folly of a Flawed Faith

Don’t you just love a good proverb? “Do good things and you’ll get good stuff; do bad things and you’ll get bad stuff”. We tend to gravitate toward the formulas for getting what we want. But what are we to do when things don’t work out quite that simply? Maybe more importantly, how are we to walk with those who are suffering when there seems to be no reason for it? How do we ourselves approach life when it feels like we’re suffering without cause? We may need to challenge some assumptions.
