FOMO or JOMO?

In this episode, hosts Claire and Julia talk about the transition from high school to college, focusing on how this change reshapes feelings of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and JOMO (Joy of Missing Out). They delve into the impact of social media perceptions versus reality on these feelings, prompting listeners to question whether online depictions truly reflect genuine emotions. Listeners are encouraged to reflect on their own experiences and the authenticity of others’ experiences. We are always interested in hearing from other GenZ volunteers or organizations who have something they are passionate about and want to share with others.
