Originally, Fomorians come from Irish Folklore. They were thought to be some of the first settlers in Ireland. And they were kind of bad guys. But not always? However, in D&D, it's a lot more clear cut. Fomorians are evil, ugly giants. And that's not just us being mean and judging creatures that don't live up to our own beauty standards. They are literally magically cursed to be as ugly as they can be in order to match their hateful and vile souls. How'd they get cursed you ask? Well, it's a long story.
