from A Dog's Life with Anna Webb · host Anna Webb, Mike Hanson

This week Anna is joined by John Cahill from The Blue Cross who is heading up one of the charity’s first Pet Food Banks. John and his team have set up the Sheffield food banks and others now in operation are in Manchester and in Grimsby with plans to expand nationwide. With heart breaking cases of people eating beans on toast to be able to feed their pet, others are being forced to make the difficult decision to hand them into rescues. John chats about how they’re helping vulnerable pets and their owners offering support with accessories, treats, chews and bedding also where needed. As the cost of living continues to soar, the charity is working alongside other agencies to encourage food donations for pets as well as people. Please donate money or food to the Blue CrossTo contribute to the Sheffield Blue Cross Food Bank click here.Twitter: @The_Blue_CrossInstagram: @the_blue_crossFor more about Anna go to annawebb.co.ukMusic and production by Mike Hanson for Pod People ProductionsCover art by JaijoCover photo by Rhian Ap Gruffydd at Gruff PawtraitsTo advertise on or sponsor A Dog's Life email: [email protected]
