Highway on My Plate (HOMP) was a weekly show on travel and food. It aired on NDTV Good Times from 2007 to 2013 and can now be streamed on Amazon Prime Video or seen in reruns on various channels. The show was hosted by Rocky Singh and Mayur Sharma, two food enthusiasts who traveled over 120,000 kilometers across India for memorable dining experiences. NDTV Good Times' Head of Food Programming, Monica Narula, conceived the idea for showcasing India's unique highway food. The show was directed by Abhinandan Sekhri and produced by Prashant Sareen, who later co-founded the news critique website Newslaundry. In November 2013, Rocky Singh announced on Facebook that HOMP Hills was the last season and that no new episodes would be produced. Over the years, the show has garnered a significant fan following due to the natural chemistry and camaraderie between the two hosts. Their 'will-eat-anything' attitude, genuine love for diverse cuisines, and quirky sense of humor have endeared them to viewers.
