Food for Thought and the Brain

from Hope for Today · host Yield to the King Ministry

Have you asked yourself this question, "What must I do to keep my brain healthy?" Some may answer exercise, sleep, and live well. Others may insist on eating healthily and include all the brain foods. And some believe that stimulating your mind by learning new things will keep your brain fit.  All of these assertions hold some truth.  However, we should also consider what the Word of God says in Colossians chapter 3, verse 2 "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." The human brain is an organ that serves as the central nervous system. It controls the functions of the body. Today, more and more people are being diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's stages, and experiencing stroke and behavioral health issues. Join us Tuesday, August 14, at 3:30 PM, PDT,with special guest Jeanie McKay, CPC, ELI-MP, Chief Learning Officer and founder of MindZone. Jeanie will share with us her personal journey and why she has chosen to offer the necessary information and resources for a healthy brain. Jeanie's blog is OctaneForTheBrain.com. Jeanie is also author of the book entitled Octane for the Brain. Call in to speak with the host (646) 668-2946 Hope 4 Today is an outreach ministry of Yield to the King Ministry.
