Fool!

The victim of a person with NPD or psychopathy is not a fool. They are a kind, trusting, hopeful soul who probably has a few unresolved issues that make them a little more vulnerable than the average person, but they are not stupid or foolish by any definition. The true fools are the people who refuse to consider that recover from such a catastrophic relationship in no way resembles a regular period of grief and recovery. For this reason and countless others, everyone needs to have a solid understanding of this dynamic and the aftermath that follows.
