Foolishness is Dangerous - Audio

from Calvary Chapel Lubbock · host Pastor Ben Martinez

The word "Ignorant" or "Ignorance" can sound quite harsh. However, the true meaning being ignorant is, simply, to not know or to be unaware of something. Ignorance is not a bad thing, as one can always learn. But choosing to remain ignorant can pose a problem in certain situations. On the other hand, "foolishness" is worse than ignorance because it implies that one "knows" but chooses to do, or take, actions otherwise. For example, if one is married and becomes involved in promiscuity, this is foolishness, because this will lead to problems later on down the road. While continuing with our study of the Book of Ecclesiastes, Pastor Ben gives us examples of other forms of foolishness, and how it can be dangerous. He also explains to us why it is important to know and continue to study the Word of God, as it will help us to recognize, realize, and oppose any types of foolishness that we might encounter, If you are interested in attending our live teachings (Wednesdays @ 7:00 pm & Sundays @ 10:00 am), please visit us at 4218 Boston Ave. Lubbock Texas.
