Foot Binding

This episode we will be exploring the practices of footbinding. We will discuss the conception of this practice as well as its fall into the realm of the taboo. We will examine the cultural beliefs of China and the various reasons why one would deform their body. Comparisons will be made between modern day body modification and ancient body modification.
